Remainder is director Omer Fast’s adaptation of Tom McCarthy’s cult novel of the same name from 2005. The London-set film stars Tom Sturridge as an unnamed man who loses his memory in a freak accident. After awaking from a coma, he sets about trying to piece together his fractured psyche. But as he unlocks his memories, the man discovers vital information about an unsolved crime that links back to his downfall. In our review of the film, which you can read in LWLies 65, we call it “a head-spinning and often exhilarating mystery.”
Remainder is released 24 June.
